Just Spagrud dominated late for Team White, scoring three goals and adding one assist, but they were out-scored 9-4 by Team Black. For the dark side, Austin Adrusiak (16) of Saskatoon had two goals and one assist to lead the way as his team jumped out to an 8-1 lead after two periods. Devin Deck (17) of Vibank SK., also got three points for Team Black.
When the dust settled, six goaltenders shared the intra-squad duties with each playing one period. Swift Current's Kyle Zinger (15) was the only goalie not to yield a score. He played period two for Team Black. Casey Parker (17) of Regina and Logan Tisdale (16) of Swift Current each allowed only one goal in their respective 20 minutes of play. Casey, the son of Regina Pats president Brent Parker, spent last year with the Regina Pat Canadians under coach Norm Johnston. Logan Tisdale was part of that K Motel Hurricanes championship team here in Swift Current. The only returnee from last year was Lashburn Saskatchewan's Luke Grassl (17). He started the game for Team White.
Without going into much more detail, I liked the look of camp this year. I hope you had a chance to check out some of the action. It seemed to be very structured and straightforward. The Legionnaires will obviously be starting a new chapter both on the management/coaching side of things and the hockey side with much of last year's up-front talent unlikely to return. Defensively there will be less personnel change, but they can only improve from last season. There is still a lot to be determined with various players attending junior teams' training camps. In any case, there were some new guys competing pretty hard this weekend and there's plenty of optimism with regards to how the program will be managed going forward.

Where is Timmy?
So far as I know, Tim had a little bit of an ankle issue - it was best for him to take Sunday off and focus on recovering for PA Raiders camp coming up on the 28th. He was in camp Saturday and looked dominant.
Who was most impressive non vet at camp?
Vanstone keeps getting better every yr i see him. I thought Spags, Zac & Tim were in a class by themselves. In my opinion if those three don't come back, this team is in alot of trouble up front.
Who was the most impressive non vetv in your mind at camp?
